Welcome to FOXY SHOPPING! This site combines the charm of two wonderful lifestyle stores located in the picturesque area of west Dorset: THE FOXY COTTAGE found at Redlands Yard, in the village of Broadwindsor AND THE URBAN FOX which resides in what was the Regent Cinema, in Lyme Regis.
We’re dedicated to keeping up with the latest trends and fashion, so we can offer our customers a fresh take on modern style and gifting, sprinkling a bit of whimsy into everyday moments. Each of our shops showcases its own unique flair and focus, yet both are united by a passion for offering exceptional gift ideas, great value, and top-notch quality.

OUR STORY!
We kicked things off in Broadwindsor, with what once was Broadwindsor Craft Centre – now the fabulous Redlands Yard! Converted from redundant farm building in 1986, this gem has earned a reputation for being the ultimate spot to discover something wonderfully unique. With a thriving collection of independent businesses dedicated to giving a unique shopping experience.
Pop over to The Foxy Cottage, the main shop at Redlands Yard! We source authentic, beautiful products! Our shop is like a treasure hunt – each visit is packed with delightful surprises and stunning goodies that perfectly match your unique style and home vibe. Get ready to discover something fabulous every time you visit!
In 2024, the Old Cinema at Lyme Regis became vacant and we jumped at the chance to bring our charm to the “Pearl of Dorset”! The Regent Cinema was gutted by the blaze in 2016, and we just couldn’t bear to see the stunning art deco beauty sitting neglected and forlorn. So, we took the plunge and set up shop! And just like that, The Urban Fox was born, ready to dazzle and delight!
